Hi, my name is Donna Jenkins and I feel blessed to share Roselady Designs with you.  Many years ago after the joy of raising my family, seeing them fly out of the nest as wonderful adults, I felt a tug at my heart when I saw flowers put together beautifully. By coincidence, we were having three family weddings in one year and finding joy in seeing my daughter in laws to be and daughter’s joy in creating a vision for their weddings I found a passion for understanding what they wanted for that special day. After three weddings in one year  I felt invigorated instead of exhausted at seeing those dreams materialize and my passion grew for putting beautiful flowers together. Through the encouragement of my husband, family and friends, my desire to learn everything I could was met by being sent to" Flower Camp "(Benz School of Floral Design at A& M) to learn about care and arranging, business and the world of flowers.  I came back and the next thing I knew a flower here and flower there, I was encouraged to do a wedding, I recruited my family to pitch in, my husband built the most beautiful studio and I was on my way to a most wonderful adventure working with brides and their moms and creating floral designs with my mom, and daughters in law and daughter and now my sister, too.. My son came up with my logo and another son pitched in to deliver.

 

These years have flown by with many weddings and special occasions to serve others and fulfill a creative passion that only the Lord could have instilled in me. I have found that you never stop learning in the world of floral design and through many wonderful experiences with schools:  “Floral Design Institute” in Oregon and Seattle, many more of Mr. Johnson’s classes and A&M, two surprise opportunities (provided by my husband) to study in London at the Paula Pryke school and in Paris with Catherine Mueller and the joy of creating with every different flower and colors for each different wedding and working with my team of precious family that helps delivers is more than I could have imagined.

My passion for this business and working with flowers was inspired by this verse Psalm 90:17 " The beauty of the Lord is upon us, let Him establish the work of our hands” .  Our passion and love of creating your vision by listening carefully to you as a bride or whatever occasion you are wanting flowers is our desire and blessing to serve you.  We will look forward to working with you and making your very special day one you will always remember.
